I needed a new balljoint splitter because the cheapie I had broke, I was going to buy another one the same but a couple of weeks ago Supercrap had these on special (40% off)... I figured if the splitter part was no good I could repurpose the ram for my flywheel puller so I ordered one (they don't keep them in my store so had to pay postage but still reasonable.)

I used it on my Polo on the weekend and it was fantastic. Almost no effort required on what would have been a really stubborn tie rod end if I was using a fork or normal scissor type - fantastic bit of gear - and I still may be able to do something with my flywheel puller

That does look pretty spiffy. Now I'm going to use my one a little bit rougher, so I can break it and get a hydraulic splitter!
