Ok Guys Sini (starlet mini is on the move)

Turbo is so big it can't fit in the front of the motor
It has to go ontop of the gearbox...
Inlet Plenium only just fits.. (sortof) it is so big it will only fit with the fuel rail custom moved above & infront of the plenium instead.
Other then that its all tip top.... Should be finished very soon.
It should be back at home late next week sometime..
Then Off to get the three inch exhaust put under her... & the water to air intercooler fitted up.
Then will disapear for a week to get all wired up...
then back under my garage untill i can afford the custom brakes.
I should have stuck with a stock motor.. To many wallet ache's this way... but i have to live with my mistakes as always... hehehe

Oh yeah Tial BOV has arrived as well... gee its sexy... i will post pics of that tomoz tooo

I like the use of tube bends makes the subframe look very nice. If I had access to one I wanted to go this way. Well done. Also like the polished cover very bling

Bara I just noticed that you have the alternator bolted to the subframe how do you keep the tension on the pulley?

Yeah thats right doc... No Rubber mounts.... No engine movement in anyway...

Yeah means i will get vibration through the car... But less hassle in gear changes when on super high boost.

yep saw it on saturday with dean and must say it is the neatest conversion i have seen yet. All mendrel bent tube frame looks like a proper drag chassis. Engine is solid mounted, it isnt to bad, had a mate with a escort with cosworth turbo engine once solid mounted and was fine.

The inner guards are also neat, nearly untouched. And with the turbo over the box there is plenty of room for a radiator for the water/air intercooler at the front.

The way the frame has been done, dean has to undo 6 bolts and it will drop out from underneath the car :D

I resized the original pic and lightened it for clarity. That is not a mandrel bend. I doubt as if it's even done with a draw bender.

You can do bends like that with a $200 bender from Supercheap.

Brad...the engine is still mounted within your "frame" on those three original large round engine mounts??? That has to provide a good deal of isolation from vibration ?? and the toyota engine is obviously much smoother anyway?? :?:
