Actually, I was going to ask about that. That exhaust.. from the photos, it looks lower than the gearbox of an A-series-engined car. Is that going to cause you any clearance problems? What about the roadworthy?

Gotta say, though.. you've done a brilliant job. You, Tricky and the others around here doing conversions make me want to build a garage, learn to weld, beat panels and paint. One day...

I spent a bit of time mucking around with the exhaust and believe it or not it actually is no lower that the original starlet exhaust. It appears worse that it is because the number palte is not on at the moment.

The exhaust fits in between the engine and box where it is meant to go and then bends out around the bellhousing instead of straight up to where the factory turbo would have been mounted.

As for clearence no dramas where you can see it but my water pipes and rear exhaust are a bit on the low side. Lucky for HiLo's :wink:

MINIMETOY I love it!!! this is just two good!!! I have been trying to find information on all this stuff for months!!! & I never thought to check bloody ausmini!! LoL!
