Im Mark from Perth WA.
Had a 1275 GT back in England before most of you were born. Had more rust than metal and cost me 400 quid (a fortune in them days), to get the bloody floor welded back in to pass an MOT (thank god theres no MOT here in WA). Dont think it cost me much more than that in the first place. Always loved the car inspite of its rust. So saw a 1330 clubby in the paper here for a reasonalble price. Convinced the wife that it would be perfect to teach the kids (2 teenage girls) to drive in so we got it. Upside I get to thrash the mini  and relive my younger days, downside I actually do have to teach my kids to drive in it!
:?

G'day

My name is Big Dan and I'm from Glenorchy, Tasmania.

I am currently building myself a schmick 1972 Clubbie with an A+ 1330 large valve engine, 8.4" discs, 12" Performance superlites, Group 2 arches etc etc. The car is currently a completely bare shell ready to be blasted in the upcoming weeks before I throw a huge pile of goodies and $$ at it...

I work full time, study a 50% load at uni, and somehow in between those manage to surf, ride my mountain bike and spend enough time with the fiance to keep her happy  , so as you can all imagine the poor mini doesn't see me as often as I would like... but do not fear, for I am reforming my wicked ways and by june / july the car will (hopefully) be on the road...

Big Dan

I drive a `70 MiniMatic with a 1310, and it ain't quite stock- I rev it to 7500 or more on track days at Wakefield Pk..

G'day my names Tony from Margate in Tasmania(20 minutes south of Hobart). I currently have two minis a red 78, and a damaged 76, which we plan to repair. I had my first mini (a panelvan with mags and carpet in the back)at 16 in '86 and learnt to drive in it , and last year got back into them when I needed a car to drive to work in . (to save my '58 FC Holden from daily use)freinds told me to get a Corolla, but I wanted someting that was fun to drive, and eventually found a nice mini. Tony :D
