Fitted the skinny dizzy drive. Used brute force to get the top passenger door hinge off snapping the stud in the process. tried to drill out said stud and went off line  Anyone got a top passenger side MKI hinge?

Yep I'll dig out one. Good thing you don't want a drivers side...
Might cost you a bottle of good red.

I went and had a look at a mini today. Does that count?
I'm really thinking of buying it. It had contessa mags, but I cant afford the mini with them on it.  He said he would lower the price if I bought the mini with an uglier set of mags. I quite like them, and the price is lower. YAY. :D :D
If anyone wants to donate soem money towards me getting the contessa's they are free to do so.

Cheers

I pretended that Mokesta hadn't broken down in the pouring rain two weeks ago and hasn't been looked at since she was towed home and the cover thrown over.

My guess is the dizzy cap carbon button has gone "POOF".

With moving house, I haven't had time to even pop the dizzy cap off to see if I'm right.

I make time. I sometimes work on a Mini after everybody has gone to bed until 2-3 am. But most nights I try to get in an hour or two in the evenings.

i wish that i had a lit garage. Although i probably would end up breaking more bits on my mini rather than fixing her.

You can borrow mine, theres 3 fluros down the middle, a big ceiling panel fluro over the main bench, a flexible light over the lathe, a lead light and a torch.
