It's rough around the edges and lord knows why ANYONE would do that to the front of the car. It's a face only a mother could love. I contemplated buying it and selling mine but I could build one for MUCH less than what he is asking and it wouldn't need a facelift.

Shell (of that quality) $1-2k

Kit $6k

Bike motor $1.5k

Brakes and seats are shite.

Wheels, I hate em and they only worth $600 second hand.

The unfinished racecar with the BMW head that sold for $5k down south would have been much better buying.

Actually you could buy Kuzzy's race prepped shell and the kit and be not much more than what he is asking...

Just on here.

Yeah the conversion looks the goods. Pity the body and interior let it down a bit.

I wasn't going to list the price but he told me $12k. I reckon it's worth $8k in its current state.

I will never understand why anyone would think fitting a flip front to a mini would be a good idea. I find it hard to scratch the back of my neck while putting arm through my legs, but I'm not going to rearrange my arm or neck. How many jobs will you perform on a mini where the entire front end needs to come off? And how frequently are you performing those jobs? Not many and not often.

I spoke to to the guy as well. Sounds like there is still a lot of sorting to do. The basic kit looks good but the execution is this case leaves something to be desired.

Someone has put $6K on it so get it going. I'm thinking $8K should pull it up but the owner wants all his money back. Good luck. Maybe someone will think it's worth it.

Apart from all that it's a very interesting kit. One I wouldn't mind playing with.

I'd still rather build my own car for a fraction more then buy someone else's headache... By the time you made that thing nice you'd spend a fortune.. The more exciting thing is that its engineered.. Answers questions for a few people!

The engine conversion itself is not too dissimilar to other engine conversions we do except for the addition of the intermediate gearbox for reverse. That's always been a sticking point for bike engines in cars.

Emissions are another matter as bikes don't have the same rules as cars. Maybe someone can explain how this works.

In Queensland at least flip fronts on minis have been an issue in my experience and I haven't seen too many done and passed.

Good point Meeni. It's better and much more fun to build it yourself than buy someone elses problems. Unless the dollars make it worthwhile. His expections are alittle high at this stage.

I was under the impression that the vehicle must comply with the emissions regulations of the engine age.
