Can you take a photo of looking at the left hand side of the engine bay? Do you think I need to get rid of my brace bar on that side?

Hey Clive, the new frame comes with the brace-ing already done so yes you can remove both side brace bars from your mini

axles being done now, shouldn`t be too long

we have a new Alloy tig welder now so as soon as Dale comes by to teach me we will start on the inlet manifold(s)

:-)

thanks Tricky, means alot mate

& yes Mick,,, decent stoppers are here, Alloy 4-pot 8.4" will do the job nicely on mine
not sure what Clive has at this stage, i think he has "S" brakes & they should be fine
providing decent pads are fitted,,, & maybe just throw the thing into corners & drift a bit too :-)

it`s been a bit tricky sorting room for the exh pipes & the alternator & etc, but it`s all getting there

we`re doing 2x subframes currently but i might make another while we`re at it & hang it on the wall ready for anyone else interested at a later date,,, or maybe just another one for me :-)

Why don't you just buy one off him? Will save you a lot of effort fabricating one and fettling ot to get everything to fit.

currenly doing 3x of them, but concidering doing more as soon as my metal-fab bloke comes back from fishing trip

might be a bit difficult to get him back from fishing just to fabricate a few more mini/micra subframes
but i`m trying:-)

One of my surfing buddies has gone fishing at Fraser. Been gone 5 days and got a message saying now has no fixed timeline to come back. Fish must be on the chew!
