he's got plenty of adjustment there... ;)

Correct. When sitting on the ground it actually has negative camber. The photos don't show it correctly.

The rear engine mount bolt to the same spot as the original one did. The rear trans.
50mm poly bush. The engine barely moves which is great.

It'll be running by christmas! Great work!

So far so good but time is limited before xmas and there is some outsourced work required so not likely. I was aiming mid next year but being impatient it will be sooner.

You see that nub on the gearbox with the bolt in it? that's for the gear shifter stabilizer, you will probably be needing that. is the mount in the way of that now?

All good. That is why the mount has a bend in it. The stabiliser fits between the shifter and mount.

Sure can. Based on the below table in the VSB14 you can depending on the weight of your car
My mini weighs about 700kgs so I could go up to a 2.1L N/A or 1.7L forced. If I could make it fit I could add a turbo to my B16A.

I like your progress but if your engineer doesn't make you redo that mount I'll be amazed. I'd give it no time at all before it cracks just below the bottom bolt. I'd be be welding a plate to each side so it becomes 'C' or 'I' section.

Better with a 3.7 final drive from Watsons Rally so you can use first gear, & not have to be in 5th gear at 60km/hr.
Yes, they are a lot of fun. :)

Inlet manifold modified now.
It fits really well with good clearances. The welder did a great job with the die grinder too.

Thats fantastic! Looks like even the IAC valve on the back has plenty of clearance too. That'll save a lot of work in itself.

So whats next? Radiator or alternator?

Yeh came up a treat. I am in the middle of doing the gear lever linkages which is also looking quite easy to do. Radiator will follow that.

No A/C. I removed it when I supercharged the SPI as I never used it. I prefer the windows down although I rarely drive the mini when it is above 30 degrees.
