Alrighty.. i know you're all recovering from the first installment well here's the sequel

I found this cable running from the drivers side, behind the brake/clutch cyls , behind the carb and then down to the the bottom end somewhere
the end bit looks like it's supposed to turn, or be turned
any ideas?

well it wasn't actually connected to anything at the top end....

and i'm pretty sure he said the speedo was fine..

yeh thats a speedo cable... they all come out coz they turn heaps
you gotta do it up nice n tight
i think that end goes into the speedo dial thing which is in the dash

Hay Cushy is the other end fitted. I t will be the fire wall side of the engine and right down the bottom. If it not fitted you will be makeing another fist as its a rite pain in the ass to fit.

You're just lucky it's the top end and not the other end of the speedo that came off!!! Engine removal may be required if it came off the other end!!!

engine removal?! mine came out a while ago and i've been meaning to fix it up....but ENGINE REMOVAL!?!?! meh....i'll live...havent got any speeding fines yet :?

i didn't get the speeding fine in the mini.... i'd need an awfully steep hill :)

i'm just glad i'd slowed down so much when i got the the copper... :roll:

I can afford a 16ks over the limit fine not the xx(rhymes with shifty) that i was doing the corner before i got to him...
