Does anyone have data / info on this distributor, I assume it was for a 1100 clubman. My aus manual is too early and does not show this unit.

Thanks Doc, but I already have the info on 41053.
I specifically need data and info on 62941135. I am hoping it is in the later manuals.
Thanks anyway.

I couldn't see it in TP832C which I think is the latest Australian manual.

It's for a Morris Marina. Let me know if you want the specification page for it.

Are there any codes in a distributor's BMC/Lucas part number that denote distributors with and without vacuum advance units? Or are their features just identified by their part number?

Not that I know, Bill. I use Marcel Chichak's distributor list for whatever I need to know. That is arranged by Service Number, not by Model Number though.

Just identified by part number, which is essentially sequential in the Lucas part numbering scheme.

All 29D4 distributors had vacuum advance, except YDO6 Cooper S, and some models of YDO9 Morris Nomad and YDO15 Morris 1300/1500.

The only Lucas distributor specified for the Leyland Mini is 62941053, so possibly your units was a later swap.

Here's the distributor specifications for the three Marina models. The distributor we are talking about is for the 1750cc model with Leyland part number AYH0726 (Lucas 62941135).
