I agree it’s not pleasant reading, and I’ve already apologised for my negativity in a previous post.
I’ve put my case about Andrew Bergan’s qualifications and status with Fair Trading. You’ve read his personal attack and token response. You can draw your own conclusions and, thanks to this discussion, make an informed choice of where to spend your money.

I think you need to be careful as if you don't have your facts right, it is defamation against a registered business and can have legal implications for the forum.

Yes I understand that and I check in with Doug about these posts nearly every day. While the negative comment might be considered defamatory, it is a valid defence to express a personal opinion and/or to also present information that is demonstrably true. I have repeatedly said that there is no one called Andrew Bergan showing on the NSW Fair Trading web site as having a Motor Vehicle Tradespersons Certificate. I have checked the Fair Trading web site using my own name, and names of some colleagues, and it correctly shows the relevant certificates. It is my opinion therefore that this raises a question as to Andrew's trade qualifications in relation to engine building at Mini and Moke World Pty Ltd. Regards, Tony
