I was just wondering what is the best way to get rid of rust
sand back paint to bare metal prine respray?
or waht elce?

Wire brush or sand to bare metal, treat with deoxidine, prime (etch or other although etch primer might have better rust treating properites, not sure) then paint. As Far as I know :wink:

Depends on the location and the amount. If its surface rust on the middle of the bonnet, you would naturally treat that differently to a rust hole in the corner of the rear window.....

Cut the rusted area out and weld a new one in..

When I did our Clubbie, the whole circular spare wheel well was history. An old XT computer gave its 1.0mm cabinet for the cause. :lol:

I wish i could take credit for it....
The only thing that comes close to welding that i have done is silver soldering for copper pipe fittings with oxy and acetelene. I will learn how to weld...ONE DAY
