Not sure if it's an auto or not. Search on here about engine identification and you'll find links to pages that'll show ya.

Thanx Matt. I was told it was a 1275 from a Morris 1100s ... I was just checking ... so its all sweet :)

yep same numbers as my engine, and according to various books, it is from a morris 1100s. Are these good engines? and how different to mini engines are they? if any difference at all

It's a Morris 1100S manual, 1275cc.
Yes they are good.
Pretty much the same as a 1275LS or 1275 Moke.
Engine mounts at fan end are different setup, you just cut them off the front engine plate or use a Mini plate.
