Actually anton, since you are good at photoshop, who don't you mock up some pictures of both grille types and see which one you like? Similar to what I did with the bonnet strap thread... just an idea...

i voted for original, but i do like the andised idea. might try that on the basher's grill when i start to tart it up. you can mask stuff for anodising can't you? its a chemical mask i think.......can't remember my electroplating :oops:

Anodising looks ok...but i've never seen it last?..especially on the front of the car i think it would degrade quickly..IMO

won't be my daily driver so i'm prepared to try different things, if its in the bath for longer then the coating should be thicker, but i guess it will have its limits
