No start. but i get a clicking noise. also when i turn on the head lights the car cuts out after i have cllutch started it.

Earthing problem. Check main earth on the engine.

As Big willy said, the Battery or Alternater may need replacing. Or the battery may need to be charged a lot longer.

Check battery earth point in boot... common problem. :wink:
