just back from the multiclub event at WP...damn cold....John Battersby threw a fan belt and blew a radiator/head big time...right in front of the start/finish....huge clouds of smoke/steam etc...

Wheatley circulated quickly and had a good dice with the Spridget from Canberra.

Greig Malaure was there, but not racing :!:

still can't get used to Charles Gruber in a Torrie....

Wakefield Park is always cold and I hate racing there in the winter. If it didn't have pit sheds I would not consider it at all. What time did the water pipes unfreeze?

Dunno about the pipes...but people who stayed up on the hill overnight awoke to the usual half an inch of ice on their cars.....the brew urn was hot when I turned up around 0730 so thankful for that....

It was only the wind that made it uncomfortabl every now and then....

we are expecting -7 here tomorrow...yee hah!
