Ok get your minds out of the gutter...

I am starting to plan the engine build for evil. looking at turbo 1400..

Now my problem is I am not a turbo man by far. so I am having trouble trying to figure out what is better a blow through system or a or suck through..??

Any help or info would be great.

Cody

Blow is the go, with a turbo.
But with a supercharger it's usually suck-thru.

I would not try to run a Weber or Dello with a turbo. Too much grief to set up. Get an HIF44 turbo one...

BLOW can be intercooled when chasing big hp
Turbo life expectancy is longer
Run smoother less cough/splutter
More work to set up (carbie has to be set up to handle positive pressure)

SUCK Cannot be intercooled
Short turbo life because of fuel being sucked through the compressor
Harder to tune (jet accurately) due to the characteristics of a turbo airflow
Cheaper and easier to set up less pipe work etc

My choice would be blow through though!
