I,m in the process of restoring a 1976 clubby.
Does anyone know where the hoses for the carbon canister go to,
I have one going from centre of canister going to rocker cover and the other goes to fuel tank, the third top outlet is not connected.
Does this outlet go to the extra outlet on the carby float chamber?

Also does the small plastic connection on standard air cleaner supposed to have a hose on it or is it just open to atmosphere.

Thanks Felix :?:

On a `76 with the 998, the rocker cover hose goes to canister, one to tank and the other as you said to the float bowl breather.
The PCV circuit is completed by the hose from the crankcase breather to vac port on side of carb.

No I don't think it's used, but on Clubby S prior to 76? (no canister) it went to the rocker cover.

If you fix the air pump and put a belt on Granny will have even less power...

Thanks Doc for letting me know :)..

I have been told this would be the case.. But I am thinking of only putting the fan belt on in car shows and leaving it off for the rest of the time :)..

I dont want to take off all the pollution gear to keep her original.. Also I knew I would not be a speed or performance freak when I brought Granny. So I will have to keep those desires for when I get another Mini at some stage :)..
