I got it a while back.

It's not too bad, but don't change plans to watch it.

There's a few interesting facts there, but not exactly the whole story of the mini if you ask me (Which you probably didn't!!) There's some nice modifieds there on the London Brighton run too.

Enjoy it tho 8)

Hmm ultimate extreme is good if you like that kinda thing..

Story of the Mini is pretty pissy, and fairly bwiddish. My fave is a BMI heritage vid simply called "Mini-Cooper" - its only about coopers but it has heaps of great footage and even some of the late John Cooper. I got mine in London but Ive never seen it out here.

I have one called The Marvellous Mini which is basically a guy and a camerman walking around one of the big Mini shows in the UK.

Funny thing is that he know NOTHING about minis. He asks the owners about their cars and says things like "This one's got the speedo in the middle. Is that standard?". In spite of that, it's got some interesting bits on it but I wouldn't recommend buying it.

I've got one (VHS) called "The Mini - Wizardry on Wheels" IMO the best one available. Has the most aussie stuff on it and tells the story pretty well I think. Also shows some great TV ads for mini's and speaks to "Sir Alec" and "Sir" John Cooper a fair bit.

Not sure if it's available on DVD but well worth buying if it is.

My 2 bobs worth.

Cheers,
BC :)

I have a few here myself

The two at the right of the bottom row turned out to be the exact same movie .... but with a different voice over guy and different cover on each..... strange but true.

Hi huys there is quite a few goodins there is one with the factory and showing the mini's being built, its one of the best ive seen it shows most of the later mini's production, you will be amazed how quick they do things ie the bonnet stripes, ive put these on and take 1/2 hour go on video does in 2 minutes just walks up and sticks it on, theres also dash installation, and engines , loads of cool bits i'll try and see which one it is, seen as though its raining today might get a chance to watch a few

OK thanks everyone for your posts and letting me know..

I will keep my eyes open in my travels for more.. As for the ones on VHS they can be easily converted to DVD including full menus etc if you have the right gear as I have done this many times myself :)..

I also watched it last night and loved watching the Minis being made at the factory and the racing of them on the track .. They were the best parts of the documentry I thought :).. Shame the factory foootage was in black and white though :(.. Would have loved to have seen it in color and more footage..
