Hey-Doc or 68 Delux-What are you using to wash out your Filters and
then what type or brand of oil are you then using?

I use turps to wash the filter then use FinerFilter oil. Can't buy it now so use UniFilter oil (similar stuff).
The current recommendation is wash the foam with detergent but I've had no probs with turps as they used to recommend. :wink:

Wash in turps until clean, squeeze it out, let dry a bit then oil. Squeeze out excess.

i used metho on my nitro rc car would metho work on socks asweel or is it bad for the foam?

Dunno but turps is mineral based and cleans out mineral oil better. 8)
