Hi

I've just joined. Have two Minis, a 1970 Mk2 Cooper S that I've owned since 1973 and which has been in storage since 1981, and a 1966 Mini Van with discs and hot 1340 motor.

I'm currently converting the van gearbox (3 synchro) to S ratios. Have a new 22g1100 laygear and bearings from Mini Spares UK but it doesn't come with any intenral bearing spacer/circlips. Are these availabe locally (MS can't supply) or can someone suggest an alternative.

You can fit the replacement caged rollers, no circlips etc needed. Bit of tube for a spacer..
Geez, that's an old mod...
