Looking for another HIF44 carby - and I'm looking far and wide as I need to bag a bargain.

I'm looking at one on eBay, and the guy isn't sure what it is. It's off an MG and looks an awful lot like a HIF44 (float bowl underneath etc).

He said it is tagged aud550 front and back - can anyone confirm what this means??

Any more numbers you need to check, just select SU, then select the carb number from the list, will give you the origination of the carby.

Burlens have both C1344 and C1300, but yeh, no AUC1344/AUC1300, and judging by the C1344 item, I don't think thats it, but u never know.

I saw that, but they are definately a left and a right carb. I'm not too worried but I don't even know what type of carb they are and I can't get my phone to hook up to the pc to upload photo's
