Hey guys was searching for information on my police mini and came across, some old sites that use to get information from, anyway, theres been some new pictures added and this is one of them

Crikey, the motorcyclist must have been moving. You can only hope he went over the mini van, and landed in a pile of mattresses :wink:

Id say thats a cop bike as its from a Police website

and dont think he did looking at it looks like he moulded into car

A friend of mine had a cop motorbike run into the back of him when he stopped to make a right turn.
He was in a Triumph Stag & the copper ended out in the seat next to him.
His greatest regret was not having a camera...

the bike rider would hae either been cut in half by the window edge or killed himself by hitting the roof, i dont think he would have got out easily, there is a big stain on the roof, running down to the ground, might be what he left there when the paramedics peeled him off the roof

Looks like the van has a P plate holder on the front number plate. There is a radio microphone hanging down across the roof too. Must have been a police bike though I don't recall them using BMW boxers, only K100's.

yeah true, who said minis with motorbike engines were a new thing, proof they were doing them in the 60's.


reminds me of the sticker you get on rearview mirrors, "caution things may be closer than they appear" no sh1t shurlock.
