Provided I got the GOOD halves I wouldn't mine. Assuming they didn't pop rivet them together.

If the rear seat belt retractors are in the side pockets they have to be moved to the center of the rear seat. Windscreen and all "safety" glass has to have have the Australan safety standard logo ie replace all glass. There is a few other PITA things as well but I can't remember them all.

Nothing wrong with rivets :-) They holds aeroplanes together real good. But not them stinky cheap ass pop rivets of course.

And I've seen some damn shoddy welding jobs. My welds would be like that LOL

My brother and I did fix a Hillman Imp once that way, it had had a front ender. We cut thru the A pillars 1/2 way up the screen, and across the front floor, sized it perfect- it was a bloody neat job. Registration? Not a problem... Was years ago, though... 8)

Not sure what to think of this auction. I have emailed the seller twice now asking to view the Mini. He has not replied to either and my email questions are not showing on the auction site which means he has deleted them as his option. You would think that if everything is as he has stated that he would be more than happy to let someone have a look at it. It's not far from me and I was curious. There must be something to hide.

"The seller ended this listing early because of an error in the listing."

He's relisted again - this time starting price is $3000. For a 998 auto that probably can't be registered in Oz  ? Parts aren't worth that!

It's already got one bid! Good Luck to him!
