I am guessing you mean the look of the wheels being out level with the arches. All you need is to buy 13 x 7 Superlites. They actually sit just a smidgeon out of the arches.

Hey mutant i was just takin a look at your mini (again) and i noticed that you have no hinges on the outside of your doors? Did you get the UK doors or somethin or did you get them modified yourself or....? Because i am gettin a bodykit sent over for mine and i have been told that the hinges foul so i will need to do some modifing, so without the hinges on the outside would be great.

Whole car is a 1973 Mini 1000 Mk III UK Import. It was personally imported sometime ago by I don't know who.

Any reason you are getting a body kit from UK instead of from the guy in Toowoomba?

Someone else on the forum was discussing changing doors. Don't think it can be done. They are actually different sizes.

May need to just make changes to the body kit instead.

He is listed in the For Sale section. Extrememini.

Saw one of his kits in Qld at the Mini Muster. Sell for around $900 I think.

yup, thats what I mean...

hmmm if I put a set of Rcomps on the 12's (after I wear out the Yokohama 539 street tyres) that would justify bying a set of the 13s for street.. and keep the 12s for track :)

I love it, that looks awsome, well done :)

Pity you weren't at MINSHOW. Minisport of South Aust. had the 13 x 7 Performance Superlites selling for $680 a set. Cheapest price I have ever seen.

When you say 13 x 7 any type I gather you don't mean just starmags but any type of mag wheel?

I listed in a previous post that Minisport in S.A. has them. They are not hard to find. Any tyre place can order 13 x 7 Superlite Performance wheels in for you. It's just the cost that will vary from place to place. Just make sure that they order the correct stud pattern, offset etc.

I actually found that some of the normal tyre & wheel shops were cheaper than the Mini businesses.

Take a look at the Aust. Performance website.
