what are the big differences between the two, im asking for a mate. he has a sc14 handy, are the inlet and outlet sizes the same? general info would be great.

sc14 is for the 6 cylinder toyota, the sc12 is for the 4 cylinder. The difference is in displacement, the 14 is 1470cc and the 12 is 1200cc, and in the size, the 14 is much bigger - the 12 is a squeeze under the bonnet and between the inlet and the wiper motor - and a bit bigger would be even harder to fit in, but I never said don't give it a go...
