I rekkon the only wat that is possible is to have pedal fiddle brakes on the front, and merely handbrake rear.
that way... you can brake one wheel or the other, and "drive" around it using the opposite wheel....

watch it again, and again, and again.... it makes sence.

... I want some brakes like that!!!!!
would certainly make u-turns a lot easier!!

Could be Mini East west Front and Bike rear :?: with Bias control hand brake.
Dont forget it short and has 5cent rear wheels......Nar
Bias for Left, Right :?: Rears hand brake only with the short wheel bass and 5 cent tyres and a nice engine to match 8)
Great vid

yep must have fiddle brakes - no other way

it is definitely a mini engine from the sound + the sump hanging down, and the whine is from the straight cut gears in it (maybe only the drop gears)

It looks like it was built with one thing in mind - win the khanas

gee that thing can really turn on a penny. Ive managed a full 360 handbrakie once on gravel but that was by going full opposite lock to the first 180 degrees- this guy does it just driving. Obviously only front foot brake. Would it be possible to somehow rig up a bias valve with the steering so that when he turns right the right wheel locks up visa versa rather than have 2-3 foot pedals! maybe even one of those hand operated bias valves is used who knows. pretty impressive none the less.

how many of you guys have been to the Hay Mini Motorkhana Nationals on the June long weekend? it's an awesome weekend - given that there are so many Sydney, Melbourne and Adelaide based AUSMINI members, we could possibly even have a group meet-up. It's basically 7 hours from each of your home towns (3 hours for me )

one day i will make it to HAY... lol when i get the moke ready, not to mention a tow car lol.....

I 've been to hay - 99 in the black Austin, 2001 and 2003 in the van. Will be going next year, maybe with the Moke this time. It's the BEST Mni weekend ever. Clean the cars Saturday, show 'em, then get them filthy muddy/dusty in the motorkhana!

The first two years I drove the Mini, last year I towed it on a trailer I bought and modded to suit transporting Minis. Next year I'll probably take the Moke.

I've done a few other 'khanas in the van as well. Great Fun! Probably doing one this Sunday as it's being held about 750m from my house!
