What do u think I picked up up a one owner Mini K for $500   and it only has a burnt out valve. Still all orginal it evan has the vinyl floor.

No rust in the floor, guters or basically any where except the front left quarter hinge panel. Still in the orginal paint and it still has the orginal jack and bag. Only to little dents in the forn guards but otherwise all a ok.

I think it was a steal as the body is in better condition then the one in which I own now.

Still go the orginal 1098 and still running the hydro suspension and rubber unis.

Looks like a steal of a deal.
The `matic one I bought a while back wasn't rusty either but didn't look anywhere near as good as this- eh, 13secmini..

I was told that They used to have a Set of driving lights on it as they traveld between Brisbane and Sydney quite often.

Mini K superseded the Deluxe, it was the first Mini (apart from MK2 S) to get synchro on 1st gear. It also got the 1098 motor, worth around 10HP over a 998 Deluxe.
Instruments were like an S, but 90MPH speedo.
Only had drum brakes. It was a poor man's Cooper for those of us who couldn't get an S back then. And it was heaps cheaper. 8)
