My first car was a Mini Deluxe. I decided to fit a Stereo to it and mount the box type speakers under the back seat. Being an impatient 16yr old I could not be bothered removing the back seat base. So I decided to drill holes into the firewall below the seat, near where the subframe bolts in. I started drilling and.... instant green shower!

I had to take the car to Mini Car Clinic to have it repaired. The flared the ends of the pipes and put in an extra join. Only chaged me $100. This happened in 1990, but to this day whenevr I see him Paul Skinner still remembers me as "that dickhead who drilled through his hydro line"!
