I posted pictures of my 850 lights on this forum a couple of weeks ago, and no one had seen them before. At minis on the mill the car which won best bodified had the exact same lights. On talking to him he believes they were an english factory option (reversing lights), and when restoring, noted (as did I ) that the holes werent butchered jobs and looked factory.
Did anyone else see these lights at minis at the mill?

Can you describe the lights again?

the other day and saw a NOS reversing
ligt for those vehicles not fitted with a
rod change box. it was a big rectangular
light. is this like oyurs?

No, lights are small oval shape, similar to the front roundnose indicator lights, just a little cmaller and flatter. If you go to pg 2 or 3 in the chat section under my 850, there are some pics.
Thanks, steve.

I saw them and whilst it looked neat, I personally didn't like them. They just looked out of place.

did you ever think of e-mailing
a english mini mag like mini world
or mini magazine? they would probably
have an idea about the lights and if they were
available at factory or not???

I agree with drekkus that they dont really suit a mini, but seeing that there are two holes for them I will be putting them back, because I cant be stuffed going to the trouble of welding plates in there.
