I was driving about 9.00pm last night, on my way back from being santa claus's chauffeur in the moke (Moke had tinsel all over, rudolph in the front bumper, huge christmas tree in the back), and all of a sudden everything goes dead instantly, no lights, no power, no engine, and yes even no brakes! I emmidiately yank on the hand brake and slide out sideways to avoid the car in front! I checked the brake fluid and there was none there, so I filled it and it dissapeared in one pump. Took an hour to trace where it was going, and somehow (I think) my battery arced to the brake line, and now all the brake fluid is pissing out three holes which you cant even see(pin pricks), as if bolts of electricity have gone straight through it!

Anyone ever had this happen before?

P.S Should be back on the road thismorning. I will get the brake place to stick an adapter of some kind in there, and make the battery sit further towards the side of the car!

Scary huh :? Reminds me of when I lived in Sydney and was heading down the coast camping in my old HQ. I was going down Bulleye pass into Wooloongong when I lost my brakes forcing me to use gears and the handbrake to slow me down until I got to the bottom, not much fun

That has to be the worst thing to happen especially if it was night driving in heavy rain on a country road.... you wouldnt know what had happened to you.
