OK I'm seriously contemplating buying a Rover Mini in the not too distant future.

Who can get a fair amount of piccies for me (so i know what I like and what i dont) and give me a bit of history... Like models, where they are actually made, all that stuff.

Thanks.

Big willy.

If it's only pics you need do a search on Ebay UK under Rover MINI ....
http://motors.ebay.co.uk/
Some good interior and exterior shots as you'd expect for people wanting to sell a car.

i think the 89 models (1L carbys) goes for abt 7-8 grand?
then u have the 93-94 coopers that goes anything from 11-17ish

96-00 - u will be lookin at around 15-20 n above

lookup www.ozcooper.com for now to undertsand why we ccant yet import these babies but they should pop up every now n then in the tradingpost

well here we go again. actually you can bring rover minis in from japan, its a bit of a muck about but it can be done. i have this on record from both australian customs and from an exporter friend in japan. will cost you 15% duty on purchase price for anything older than15 years old, and 30% on anything newer. .. you dont need to deal with the transport authorities till you have it here and want to get it roadworthy(comploanced).. if you ask them they will say you cant do it but they are full of brown stuff.....
you will be up for new belts and tyres and whatever else doesnt meet aus standards as with any import.

Na, its just a $$$$ problem.... anything can get complianced with the right amount of $$$$. A good MPI Rover Cooper Sportspack will set you back $35,000.... once its on the road.

There is a Rover Mini importer here in Adelaide.... but if you want one, you need to get to the back of the queue. The bloody things are already sold to buyers here before they've even LEFT Japan!!
