After onl y hearing about an ebay item I needed after it finished I decided a thread dedicated to interesting mini stuff being Auctioned on ebay would be a good idea. I'll start.

I'm not saying they are bargains, just interesting.

The mounts for the no. plate. The upright thinga behind the grill aint in the centre. And the panel under the bumper, is that different, or is it just me?

Edit/ woops... cooper grill thingas are angled, arent they?

the panel under the bumper is the same as on our '68 matic and '68 deluxe. I think i read some where that the 850 shells dont have the cut out bit at each side corner.

As for the bar behind the grill, our matic has an angled one and the deluxe has a straight one.

the number plate bits are present on our matic also, not sure about the deluxe.

I can just imagine a guy on the production line throwing an odd part in knowing that in the distant future it will confuse the hell out of collectors

 I can just imagine it... and then to top it all off when British Leyland left Oz they didnt leave us with a paper trail history (ie. engine numbers/body numbers).. which never helps...
