What Ben is talking about is a 4" straight `twistknot' wire wheel, with 5/8" hole for a 4" angle grinder.
Once the wires are burnished a bit from use, it's hard to gouge steel. Takes everything else off real quick! 8)
And it's real great for the Mini side seams...
thanks for translating kev ;)

The twist knot wire wheel has to be the best advice I've ever read thanks.
I bought a wheel from super cheap for bout 20 bux. At home I made sure it was a bit blunt by testing it out on a brick. Now this thing strips off paint like magic! When it gets to metal it just buffs/polishes it. Perfect!

Cheers

i just had my van bead blasted, inside and out.. Bead blasting isnt as harsh as sand blasting, it dosnt get as hot or somethin like that.. And for that to get done it was $1500
that was inside outside.. Everywhere
It came up nice too, but yeah as jam said if you just sand it back you wont see all the real work that needs to be done
