Mate congratulations and good luck - consider getting private insurance though now when everything is fine. Coz after 12 mounths cool off he'll be covered for everything (I believe) and if god forbid push comes to shove in the future and he needs anything done you'll be covered and will be able to do any procedures straight away rather than relly on the medicare long waiting lists where absolutely everthing is onsidered "elective surgery" or having to spit out a fortune for the hospital on the spot.

Now that you know there might be a problem might be a good time to get insurance even though you might never use it.

Great to hear mate. Cars are fun, but it's family and health that are important.
