roundy it's not justice cos that turd got to live and have a life justice would be like in the olden days a tooth for a tooth an eye for an eye
it is sad that the law is so leniant especially on repeat offenders to be honest most of the older cop's are basicly sayin stuff it we charge them they go to court and get away with with it they get a little rap on the knuckles ........ if the court system worked there would be less crap happaning cos people would know hey i'm going to jail and a long time .... guess ya better pack the KY

Jeff you are a top blok throw and throw. I know the torment it is to have a disabled person to look after as I have my Sister (Mentaly Disabled Blind and has phisickley the body of 80years). Although this was not due to dick heads on the road but it does take a special person to care for them.
I have a nephew who thinks he is indestructable. Althought he is 18 this year he still tells me what he is doing on the road. I would have thought he would stop telling me as I blast him every time  Kid's

Here's another photo to wake a few people up

hmmm?

So driving drunk has always been a problem? Has it?

My only uncle on mothers side , never saw him, Was the only Son in 7 kids for grandparents. He was in Air Force doing real good, in WA. walking on the footpath got cleaned up and killed but drunks behind the wheel of a car.
Would be over 30 years ago.
Nothing is ever fair, but , something nothing

Jeff

that's tough with your son, i sympathise. i used to go with my mum and bro to give physical therapy to a kid who got knocked over by a car when he was 12, 2 yrs younger than me. He was crossing at a pedestrian crossing, one car overtook the first that had stopped and knocked him down. We went to his place for 3 years every week for 2 hours. We only stopped when he finally passed away. The effect on his family was devastating, as all the other kids felt they missed out because all of the family resources were geared to helping him, and eventually his parents divorced not long after he died. I think that fixing cars up with Dani is a great way for you both to get a break and share, so keep it up.

i was also shocked to hear last thursday that a former work colleague who had moved to our office in north ryde was knocked over on his way to worked as he walked along the footpath at north ryde. apparently the driver lost control mounted the footpath and ran right over the top of him. We knew he was in hospital and critical at 10am, and by 12pm we knew he was dead. He left behind a wife, and two teenage daughters. it is such a waste, it breaks my heart.

I think it takes something in everyones personal experience to realise how short and fragile life really is, and to appreciate every possible moment. my wife is in remission from cancer, and it really woke us both up. She was 33 when she was diagnosed, and her first thought was "i am too young to die, i have so much to do still". If anyone who drives a car had that attitude then they would not be so careless. Because it is always carelessness that causes accidents.

I agree that people who push the limits in cars at a young age do so for the excitement, just as the majority people who do drugs(and i include alcohol here) at a young age do so for the excitement. i get my excitement in other ways, by being involved in motorsport, playing football. What i recommend is that anyone who thinks that they want to get a thrill by being irresponsible in a car try getting your thrills elsewhere. Go rock climbing, abseiling, scuba diving, sky diving. All of which are tremendous thrills, but have rigorous safety standards. As a last resort you should go find a quiet corner and masturbate. it will give you a thrill, relieve the testosterone levels, and after all it fits the true nature of your personality. try it to give up smoking too, as it will give you something for your hand to do (i hear this is a great problem for those who try to quit).
