Can anyone tell me what the LS stands for on the mini, I don't know much about mini's but I just bought a square shape mini with LS on it for $100 just out of reg and minimal rust, a few oil leaks.

$100 for an LS? If its an original 78 model, you got a bargain!

Not all LS were 1275s, there was also a 998LS.
Still a bargain at $100...

tis a bargain cause people pay a lot more than 100 dorra :P

hmm.
Do you have an old eh? obviously not a new one but it is clear to see from your user name that you may infact have taken your name from teh fact that you may posses an EH? Or uness its Oldeh for Oldie?
However, make sure you show some pictures of that eh and have a nice stay here,
goodnight
