Or me..lol

If you changed all you other leads, but not the coil lead, then it's not going to do you any good if the coil lead is the problem since it's the main feed and you wont get enough power to the rest no matter how good they are if the resistence on the coil lead is too much..

Just take a multimeter to the coil lead to do a quick check, if suss, swap it out..

I have just sorted out a simular problem which took three months to find..

any how i feel for you i tried every thing possible

so i hope this helps..

what dizzy are you running

what was happing with mine a 45D i was getting spark platter in the cap..there is a silly nylon cup which holds the points cam in to the dizzy. the cap had come loose so when the car was running it would cause the spark to splatter inside the cap a bit like a buggered mini speedo which cause the needle to wavier. The only way i found it was when i changed the rotor i noticed it had excessive move ment.

I swaped the dizzy for a spare and the car ran like a dream elctricaly.. until i ran a idler bearing cause i pushed it to hard having too much fun and while being chased by a rover V8 on a rural road..

The car had sat for three years while i worked in OZ and had dryed out.. rebuild crrently in progress
