If 998's and 1100 have same blocks,
different stroke

do they have same compression?
(1100 pistons would move down more, up more, and thus squeeze MUCH more gas, thus much larger CR?)

Different piston/rod heights.
Leaves more space in the combustion chamber, lowers the compression ratio.
10:1 is the same as 11:1.1
