Okay. just to be certain, are the Timken roller bearings used on the front wheels also suitable for the rears?????

I dont wanna go spending my money on bearings I wont need. I only did the front's less than 5000 k's ago

Nope, different bearings alltogether.

Prolly be something the russians would do though...

When you fit the 'S' tapper bearings to a drum brake setup do you still torque the nut up to 60 ft/lb or do you use the 'S' spec of 150 ft/lb.

NO... you must keep it at 60. :shock: much more and you will strip the thread.
It's to do with the C/V not the bearings.

The disc brake C/Vs have a much bigger thread, so they can stand 150+.
