I think he means $1200, A deluxe is not a rare model it is pretty common actually (for a round nose) but due to people cooperizing there are less that are actually original condition deluxes.

What it's worth it depends is it an original interior, does it have matching engine numbers, etc etc

If it is all original condition it is worth quite a bit but if it has been fairly well modified it depends on the mods and what you are after.

It might help if you can tell us some more about it. Maybe photos
$1000 - 2000 maybe more? I don't think would be unreasonable but if it is all original then more I guess.

$12000 was what I meant. I was taking the piss because honestly, how can anyone say what it's worth without pics....and then it could look like sh!t and someone will still pay $5000 for it.....

On average a Deluxe in decent condition, unmodified (to an extent) is around $3000 + - $1000

Add rust, torn trim bad paint and you drop to $1000 ish

Add a decent motor, good rims/tyres, decent trim and rego and you will push $6000

my $0.01

I had toyed with the idea of selling my 68 model to fund another year at AFTRS....but I don't think I could part with the beast....spent too much time and money to sell it now!
