Just a quick Q guys, I know a bloke with a really nicely done-up Cooper S, not sure if its all matching numbers, but its been restored. After a quick chat with the bloke on the weekend he said 'Make an offer'

So to my question, what would be a reasonable offer for something like this? Its in great condition, was resprayed by the local Panel Works, done in spare time of Apprentences but still quite good paintwork.

$6k or $7k?

Once again, and it sounds like the broken record of which it is, how long is a piece of string?

Pictures, specs of any engine modifications, how long ago was the rebuild (if at all), who did the rebuild, what's the interior etc. etc. etc...

When people say, "make me an offer", they will only take more than it's worth.

At 6-7 grand you would be paying for a replica Cooper S but if it is legit then if the guy would take 7k then I wouldn't complain.
