Gday everyone

i didnt think this was so, but i was told today that if i want to put a different motor into my mini, such as a toyota starlet, vtech etc motor, i had to go and ask permission first at transport. tell them what motor, brakes etc are going to be used, then they get back to me ages later with either a yes or no.

i thought i could just do it, then get it engineered, then regod...

bugger.....

anyone had this drama, or isn't that much of a biggy and im over reacting??? :D

I suppose you could always get a friend in another state to get it registered in their name with all the mods done and engineered then have them "sell" it to you and transfer the rego to Tassie 8)
