People won't come out to see historics? Queensland Raceway's second biggest day (V8 Supacars is the biggest) is the Historics. A massive cround. Now QR are getting greedy and want a bigger slice of the pie. So we are going to have our own raceway at Kilcoy!!!! Don Thallon designed it and Kev Bartlett is involvled in it's deveoplment. A great track design that takes a piece of all the great tracks around the world, and its not a flat track Yay!!!!

The reason why Channel 10 or any other station doesn't cover the N Group races is.... ya ready for it....... THEY DON"T GET PAID. Channel 10 are payed by all racing styles that are featured on it's weekly round up show(can't think of the name) As the teams gain money via advertises(sponsors) the tv station want there cut. They don't rate high enough to cover the costs and make profit. There is no way they will cover the races unless there was a celebrity in it (ie Brock,moffat etc etc) When there is enough ratings to warrant channel 10 to PAY for the rights then you will see it on air, not before hand. TV stations are out to make money. Speedweek is produced by an external source to SBS and it buys the program from the maker. The people racing then PAY to have there races aired. So the third party then gets payed, as they have to film and edit the show toether and make money at the end of it, why do it otherwise. The world revolves around money. Sorry. Thems the facts.

PS the V8's are payed by 10 as they rate. All be it a small amount as the ratings still don't warrant the amounts that football and afl rate.

When you do see the Biante Series Group N cars supporting the V8's on Channel 10, Biante the company have to pay out 1000's of dollars to get it onto the TV. That is the only reason it appears sometimes. They usually only pay for TV when Brock, Harvey or Moffat etc are guest driving in the event.

If you all want to see a great historic meeting head to Historic Winton on 28th-29th May. Two hours up the Hume from Melbourne (near Benalla).

yeah,,,some of the "in-car" video footage that`s supposed to be shown then is from my mates turbo charged 2litre escort is stuck in my camera (won`t eject) it`s still at Bakers electronics trying to be fixed,,,poor bugga is going nutso supposed to have the video to them last week for editing (Doh!!!)
