The front door mat from the BMC/Leyland assembly plant Sydney, Australia.

Imagine the famous feet that have walked across it.

It now resides underneath my pool table.

This time it's gunna be a bit nicer. 8)

I couldn't think of anything better to have under a pool table! Perfect for when you have A series bits spread out across that pool table when doing an engine rebuild.

whats it made of? It looks like woven rubber or something?!?

Reminds me of mats we had on the factory floor at Qantas...so the workers would not get sore feet from standing around all day....this was of course pre-public float days! (the good 'ol days)

Yeah - and I completely missed all the naughty posts. Lets keep it clean this time.

Speaking of street names. There is now Motorkhana Rd in Leppington NSW after the MCC NSW had their khana grounds there for many years.

It's a hard plastic woven material. It's getting a bit brittle these days.

Always a good talking point for the many Mini parties we've had.
