well, got Vivians engine conversion legalised. she is meant to have
pollution gear fitted (she is a 27a car) but the new motor has none of it.
took it to a tough blue slip place and they didnt even pick it up.

so Anton here is hope for Jam, and for elmo. fingers crossed it wasnt a
fluke. but i think im the first in sydney to put the pollution thing to the test aye?

I'm very glad to hear that, even though i'm in QLD.

I have a 78 clubbie that has an 1100 in, I'll be putting my 12g295 head and spare twin sus on that once I've finished pouring all my cash into my deluxe!!

I was wondering what to do with the pollution gear. I was either going to remove all traces of it (what pollution gear????  )
OR
Rig it so it looks like it was working and hope for the best. :? :?

Any ideas?

Strip it all off, except for the carbon cannister - leave it connected.
Even most patrol cops know to look for that.

I had no problems, but then I never took it over the pits

It still has the carbon canister. I think htat is all they must look
for. This place is VERY strict, so i guess most others wont pick
it up!!! and yes i think the engine number was the right one aswell

engine number is important.

If it is so strict....why did you go there?
