Hi. Ive recently fitted up my modified clubman centre AM radio.
As you can see in the pics, it turned out quite good.
I used a heat gun to strip the whole thing back to bare metal. I then welded up some supports at the top where it was a little bit weak for my liking, and also at the back where the grille was ripped out from.
I primed it up in two coats and then finished it off with another few coats of semi-gloss black paint.
I then got some stainless steel and brushed it up then glued it where the grille was and mounted a cigarette lighter in it, which i will use for charging my phone and iPod.
Later on, i will mount some toggle switches in it for various things which functions i havent decided yet.
I still need the black vinyl that covers the back of the bulkhead, as you can see that fibrous crap is not very sightly.
