More than likely yes... however, check that you have 2 cables from the carbie (one being choke, the other being accel).

yeah yeah.. they're both there...i recall revving the engine from under the bonnet and thinking... geez.. it revs pretty crap..... then i noticed i was turning the choke.. :roll:

looking at the curl in the end of the cable i would sugest yes it is the heater cable
