Ok..one of the biggest mini weekends in a while is now over!

I'd like to thank Makka once again for his hospitality and for providing everyone with a place to go hang and sleep if required ;)

I'm pretty sure that I speak for everyone that a great night was had by all.

Gannon's was great..though the six o 'clock wake up was tough after the night before. There was a huge turn out..close to 50 mini's I would say..we had 30 mini's in a convoy on the way there which was great, but we certainly weren't expecting to see that many mini's there waiting for us when we arrived.

There were a lot of people I didn't get the chance to speak to at Gannon's as well, sorry for that!

It was great to see those that I did again and meet some new faces, billycart needs to lay off the shark juice for a bit..he will still be peaking 5 days later i think

To scott and adeee was great to finally meet the man (and woman) behind the site...ad..i hope i didn't scare you too much with my driving (if at all) we both know gaf is just a big girl ;)

Hurry up and get pics up!

Yep, what a day!!

Just to correct you Josh.....officially it was 78 Minis!

Awesome turn out. Partly because of this joint promoting the event and all things Mini!

It was nice to see all the usual faces, including our God Poeee and his better half, Mrs God (nice to finally meet you both!).

The cruise down to Gannons was EXCELLENT!! Cheers for taking us on the scenic route Bob. That's a whole part of Sydney that I haven't seen before  . Very nice indeed!!

Some awesome cars there today!!

JAM certainly had it's share of attention. I met and spoke to a LOT of people who have followed the progress of JAM over 3 years. So many questions........ but I was happy to answer them all.

I can't believe I missed out on gold by 1 POINT!!!!!! :x :x :x

This was the winner of BEST CLUBMAN...

Image

This car won the same title last year. Very nice car, full credit to the owner......but you wouldn't believe what blew it for me.......pitted chrome bumpers!!!!!! The judges told me. It came down to that!!!!!!!!

Oh well.....still came away with 2nd and a nice trophy to match. 8) I am happy with that.

Congrats to all the other place getters, including Aaron, and Jan with Mutant. My first viewing of Mutant.....a very interesting Mini. I was lucky enough to be following Mutant for 20 odd minutes on the cruise...... :D You certainly don't see ANY car like that on the road too often!

Full credit to the MCC NSW for organising the event today. It was perfect all round!

Next year.......hmmm.....what can I do to improve upon this year.....?!?

get some Tyres wide enough to not look anorexic on the rims and gets the fron of that bad boy down. Then you will be no.1!

The van took 3 years to get first place. The first year didn't win anything i was gutted being that i had put so much into it. 3 years later it gets a win. But next year.... no hope.. bring on bruce steve and mickey!

Cheers
Aaron

Yes 2 great events, thanks to Myles & Tracey for their hospitality, big thanks to Josh for the great food, it's a real shame everybody who said they were going to turn up did'nt! 6 tits was a crack up big time, Marcello & myself had some fun that no one else knows about

Gannons was a excellent day with a big number of new cars on show, great atmosphere, weather & plenty of non mini related activities. And a 2 minute drive home :D

Doogie

Hay, it's not about the car, it's not about the venue, it's about the people that come here. Peter Dwyer, Mayor of Hay NSW.

Aww..i missed 6 tits :(

Food was no problem guys, makka and I were talking about making this a kind of quarterly thing? If we do it again, i think i'll have to get deposits from everyone beforehand, this way it will make it a very cheap meal and be fair to those that did turn up and pay (rather than asking everyone to fork out more cash ) as well as minimize the wasted food..though i'm sure the dog enjoyed it

For you Em, i think we can arrange chicken ;)
