Oh ok.. i get ya. I usually jack it from under the front subframe, but body jacking is ok too i guess. I just think subframe is more stronger? maybe...

nice...thats better than my 28 years worth.

I am taking my subframes to Car Lovers this weekend, in the back of my wagon. I am going to blast all that crud off with their high pressure cleaners. I am sure they won't mind.....

Hey hey! just to impress you boys on how much I've learnt about minis over the past few months:

Just from the pics, MC_Cush has dry suspension, twin leading shoe brakes into what looks like inboard pot joints. And it seems like it's the original Engine, either that or when they went to do an engine change, they didn't bang a hole through the side of the subframe to get to the mounting bolts...

Dun quote me on it though

Cool huh?

since i have just a mini knowledge,

i'd better let you know... it's a morris 850 with a 998 and they're single leading boys :)

and on the jacking, i've got a wierd old jack the sticks in the hole along the floor sill so it's be a bit hard to get it under the car :)

hehe.. it's funny hearing people go on about water restrictions...i regularly forget about all that stuff since i'm soley on rain water (with a bore as a backup)

*fondly remembers the many bore vs garden hose water fights last summer*

Everything looks straight MC. Have you given every thing a good shake.

Get your self some stands and put them under the subframe.
